| HISTORY & BACKGROUND |

ASE Capital Markets Limited (ACML) is a company established and promoted by Ahmedabad Stock Exchange Limited (ASEL) in the year 2000. ACML is an ISO 9001 2008 quality standards certified, professionally managed trading & Clearing Member in Cash and F&O segment of Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE), Cash and F&O segment of National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). ACML is Depository Participant of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL). Parent organization ASEL is a recognized stock exchange and Clearing House. ASEL is Depository Participant of Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL).

Ahmedabad Stock Exchange Limited (ASEL) is the second oldest Stock Exchange in India after the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE). It was formed in nineteenth century in the year 1894. Thus, it has completed 116 years of its existence. There are 3 Stock Exchanges in Gujarat with electronic trading and electronic settlement on T+2 basis viz. Ahmedabad Stock Exchange, Saurashtra & Kutch Stock Exchange and Vadodara Stock Exchange. SEBI in order to ensure survival and to facilitate growth of regional stock exchanges and their members, allowed them to float subsidiary companies which could acquire the memberships of premier stock exchanges BSE & NSE.

ACML does not have any proprietary interest in trading and also does not deal in its own account. As a regulatory and business policy, ACML carries out its various Capital Market related businesses only through SEBI registered Sub Brokers who are also the SEBI registered brokers/Clearing Members of Parent Stock Exchange ASEL.
